Ophthalmic Seminars of San Antonio

Why + How = Success

Picture

About Us

Ophthalmic Seminars of San Antonio is designed and developed to meet the educational needs of allied health personnel in ophthalmology and optometry. We present the Why+How=Success.

What makes us different? We believe that in-office training is the most productive method in providing quality training of today's ophthalmic office staff and design our programs with lecture and hands on workshops.  The goal of every seminar is to provide an understanding of the "why" we are performing a task and then learn "how" to perform the tasks that are required in your ophthalmology and optometry offices.
All seminars are presented in a dynamic, practical, and clear way so that even the newest assistant can perform at a higher skill level, leading to the success of the practice. All seminars can be presented in your office, anywhere in the United States, Abroad, or in beautiful San Antonio, Texas and are scheduled on an as needed basis.

Seminars are specifically for the ophthalmic assistants and technicians uncertified or certified by the International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) or paraoptometric assistants and technicians that are certified by the Commission on Paraoptometric Certification (CPC).

However, we can also provide seminars to non certified personnel who are preparing to take a certification test or certified personnel who are in need of continuing education credits. Also, for non certified and certified personnel who just want to learn specific techniques that will improve their value to the practice in which they work.

Ophthalmic Seminars of San Antonio offer seminars that are accredited and customized to meet the specific needs of each practice, assistant, and technician.

We will provide IJCAHPO continuing education credits on a 1:1 basis for COA, COT, and COMT participants, as needed and will require eight weeks to process an application prior to your seminar.

We will provide seminars that are certified by CPC and provide approved education credit for CPO, CPOA, and CPOT, as needed. We require ten weeks to process an application prior to your seminar.

In response, to the ophthalmologist's and optometrist's ever increasing need for affordable continuing training of clinical staff and to the individual ophthalmic or paraoptometric staff that must pay for their own continuing education, e
e strive to keep our fees very affordable.
