Keratometry Lecture and Hands on Workshop

The first hour will define Keratometry; outline the calibration, use, and interpretation of Keratometry measurements.
the second hour will provide practical experience in performing Keratometric measurements. The calibration of the instrument will be demonstrated and the participants will have an opportunity to practice both.

    Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
1. Define Keratometry.
2. Describe how the Keratometer works.
3. Describe the proper steps in calibration.
4. Explain a step-by-step approach in taking accurate "K" readings.
5. Explain the interpretation of "K" readings.
